Business Leader Role

Seeking Business Leader – Hebrew Educational Technology Startup Serving Synagogues

We are an angel-backed Hebrew Educational Technology startup that is seeking to hire its founding business team. Whether you are a graduate student or a veteran Jewish communal leader, you can explore opportunities for a long term leadership and personal growth opportunity with us. Our goal is to become the de facto enabler of synagogues and Jewish temples throughout North America.

Our speech recognition-based patent-pending technology can serve special needs children on the autism spectrum. The AI in education market is expected to reach an approximate market value of USD 2 billion by 2023 growing at a 38% CAGR during the forecast period 2018-2023. The global educational technology market crossed $17.7 billion in revenue in 2017 and is expected to grow to $40.9 billion by 2022, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18.3%. We can build a billion-dollar company in a decade around our Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics software with an initial beachhead in the special needs market, widely deployed in the synagogues.

You will have an affinity and familiarity with our target market and bring personal connections. You will have attended a Bar Mitzvah and/or a Bat Mitzvah and be able to explain what it means. You will be an excellent communicator who knows what to say, when to listen, and efficiently enable people to have their needs met through our technology platform. These roles span what can typically be learned in a Masters in Business Administration, or as a practicing Jewish leader.

We are seeking a diverse team to fill roles such as:

* Connecting with pulpit cantors, rabbis, and very important people. Providing annual software licenses to synagogues for each student in exchange for payment. Presentation of impact to stakeholders within synagogues and to Jewish family foundations.

* Recruiting additional team members through outreach to universities, colleges, clubs, Jewish religious and/or communal organizations, synagogues, Jewish Temples, and/or federations.

* Provide the marketing communication infrastructure for our outreach efforts and our mission.

* Market segmentation and stakeholder analysis, and outreach to build relationships with same.

The Singing Torah software enables B’nei Mitzvah students to continue to learn between lessons with their own cantor or rabbi. The Singing Torah serves pulpit cantors by helping both gifted and special needs children, who wish to delve deeper or need more time to match their peers. Singing Torah enables students to select specific words and hear them again, or to learn by trope families, or to learn words selected according to trope families from the voice of their synagogue’s cantor. Singing Torah software can preserve diversity of practice by enabling teaching with the natural and familiar voice of the child’s own cantor, using patented technology in speech recognition in cantillated Biblical Hebrew.

Our Mission: The Singing Torah software provides a more personal connection between the cantor and each b’nei mitzvah student. The Singing Torah software as a tool for the child’s own cantor enables both more effective learning and provides a more supportive environment for children who needs additional assistance, when compared to a cantor alone. The Singing Torah intends to facilitate greater Jewish literacy that leads to stronger lifelong Jewish affiliation. The Singing Torah provides synagogue cantors essential tools for this once in a generation opportunity to connect.
