You are an Educator Seeking to Help Special Needs and Gifted Children Learn Ancient Traditions that Build Community while Leveraging 21st Century Technology
You are passionate about Biblical Hebrew and educating those with special needs. You are looking for your next opportunity to inspire a team. You will help children with special needs form a closer emotional bond with their community song educator (cantor) and to participate as equals in the emotional rite of passage of becoming an adult. You empathize with children having special needs, or even gifted children, who don’t fit into the mold. You understand the mission of cantors to effectively teach within a time and budget. You know that children who don’t learn, don’t return. You care that this causes a loss of community for the children, their families, and community.
You have an affinity and familiarity with our target market and bring personal connections. When you attend a Bar Mitzvah and/or a Bat Mitzvah, you naturally explain what it means. You are an excellent communicator who knows what to say, when to listen, and how to efficiently enable people to have their needs met through our technology platform. You might have learned these skills in a Masters in Business Administration, in a non-profit, or as a practicing Jewish educator.
You wonder who we are. We are a team of senior scientists: an MIT researcher, a Rabbi, and an MIT-alumnae who teamed up with a member of Oracle Corporations founding technology team who wrote version 1.0 of Oracle. We are passionate about science, software, and Biblical Hebrew.
We have patented software that synchronizes the voice of any cantor with the underlying Hebrew Bible Text automatically using technology in speech recognition in cantillated Biblical Hebrew. That enables children with ADHD to have two modalities, and thus to focus. It enables children with dyslexia to disambiguate by seeing and hearing at once. It enables children on the spectrum to hear many precisely curated examples. It enables gifted children to study ahead and learn at their pace. We are an angel-backed Hebrew Bible Educational Technology startup.
Our speech recognition-based patent-pending technology can serve special needs children on the autism spectrum. The AI in education market is expected to reach an approximate market value of USD 2 billion by 2023 growing at a 38% CAGR during the forecast period 2018-2023. The global educational technology market crossed $17.7 billion in revenue in 2017 and is expected to grow to $40.9 billion by 2022, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 18.3%. We can build a billion-dollar company in a decade around our Artificial Intelligence and Computational Linguistics software with an initial beachhead in the special needs market, widely deployed in the synagogues. We sell our software directly to synagogues and Jewish temples across North America.
Do you enjoy talking to cantors, rabbis, and very important people? Are you passionate providing annual software licenses to synagogues for each student in exchange for payment? Do you thrive when explaining impact to stakeholders within synagogues and to Jewish family foundations?
If so, you can apply to serve in our Business Development role or Managing Director role.
Are you more of a hermit who is socially aware, but likes to work in a corner on some brilliantly compelling and convincing content? Are people thrilled to read what you write?
If so, you can apply to serve as our Director of Marketing. If you are shy, we have internships too.
